Next Meeting!

Join us on Thursday, Jan. 24th at Douglas Avenue United Methodist Church for our next meeting. Our featured speakers will be Tommy Bychowski, Special Agent, K-9 Handler, Illinois State Fire Marshal, Division of Arson Investigation. On behalf of the City of Springfield Fire Department, Joe Langfelder, Public Education Officer will also speak.

Tommy and his yellow Labrador will be demonstrating some of the ways her special sniffer helps arson investigators look for clues. Questions are welcome after the demonstration. Joe Langfelder will follow with a brief discussion about fire safety and prevention. Both presentations should last a total of 45 minutes plus questions.

 

 

The Historic West Side Neighborhood Association meets five times a year.
